The coining press is set up with an obverse and a reverse die and collar with a bore made to form the edge, either smooth or serrated. The blanks are indexed over the collar bore and the press activated to strike each piece as many times as required to achieve the specified finish. The impact of the dies on the blank creates the desired relief. The final pieces are then inspected to ensure the quality is maintained throughout the process.

Your design can then be finished in a variety of ways to create even more unique properties. Antiquing, enameling, hand painting or gold plating selected areas of the design create special characteristics that make your commemorative product a one-of-a-kind treasure.
